Travelling to Mossel Bay

1.Arrival in South Africa

All international flights to South Africa will arrive at either Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport. Visitors must clear customs at either airport and collect their luggage before boarding a domestic flight to George Regional Airport.

2. Transfer by air to George Regional Airport

A number of airlines service the route from Johannesburg or Cape Town to George. Visit www.travelstart.co.za for detailed schedules. These flights will depart from the Domestic terminal and you will need to check in your luggage for this trip. The road trip to Mossel Bay from George airport is about 40km on the N2 national road, taking the Diaz Beach exit. Car rental agencies at George include Avis, Europcar, Thrifty, Hertz.

3. Distances by road

Mossel Bay is about 1100km from Johannesburg and 400km from Cape Town.
